Founded in 2016 with HBO & AHF’s support, America’s Rainbow Film Festival (ARFF) celebrates talents and stories that positively reflect the lives of the diverse lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or questioning), intersex, (androgynous) and ally [LGBT(Q)i(A)?+] community. It is a multi-ethnic, gender-inclusive forum for independent creators, diverse narratives, documentaries and animations; shorts, features, episodic and web content by, about and of interest to the LGBT(Q)i(A)?+ Community. ARFF entertains, educates, and inspires film-loving audiences of all persuasions by presenting the best of emerging international, national, and local talents from this community. We strive to enrich our audiences while encouraging a sense of community by presenting international and culturally diverse films that offer historical and contemporary perspectives on the LGBT(Q)i(A)?+ experience.
